Long Term Radon Kit

This long term Radon detector is composed of a sealed chamber which holds a specially manufactured plastic chip CR-39. Radon enters the chamber through a seam around the circumference of the device, preventing dust and other particles from entering. Each detector has a unique serial number for tracking

What is Radon

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is produced by the radioactive decay of radium. Breathing high concentrations of radon can cause lung cancer.

EPA Recommends:

Test your home for radon -- it's easy and inexpensive.

Fix your home if your radon level is 4 Pico Curies per liter (pCi/L) or higher.

Radon levels less than 4 pCi/L still pose a risk, and in many cases may be reduced.
