:: WHAT ARE DATADOTS? How are they traced? ::

DataDots are a hi-tech identification technology so small they are only the size of a grain of sand! Made from a durable polyester substrate, laser etched with microscopic identification information that is easy for police to trace.

For ease of application DataDots are supplied suspended in a clear-drying liquid adhesive. DataDots are applied by brushing or spraying onto assets commonly targeted by thieves.

The adhesive contains a UV trace making it easy for authorities to detect the presence of the DataDots.

Police need only locate a single DataDot to confirm the asset's true identity & owner. Simple 30x magnification is all that is needed to read a DataDot containing multiple lines of the unique police traceable identifier.

The ability for home owners to personally mark their assets offers not only a viable theft deterrent effect but also aids law enforcement in returning goods to their rightful owner when found. Many items retrieved by law enforcement agencies are simply sold later because the rightful owner cannot be identified.

The Home Asset kit consists of one container of 1000 PIN based dots, online registration kit and warning stickers.

These dots can be placed on any items that you consider important in and around your home (including motor vehicles). The kit also comes with home asset registration software which allows for easy recording and management of household valuables. All home kits are registered electronically for asset tracking in the event of an item being stolen.
